The person behind the profile
Professional. Curious. Mostly house-trained.
I’m Stephen Page: technology professional, husband, dad and North East resident with interests that extend well beyond an architecture diagram.
Newcastle upon Tyne
Home is in the North East.
I live in Newcastle upon Tyne with my wife and children. Family time matters more as the children grow up, partly because time seems to be accelerating and nobody has located the settings menu.
The North East keeps the brand grounded: direct, warm, proud of where it comes from and never especially impressed by unnecessary fuss.
Off the clock
The interests that make the calendar crowded.
The gym
Films on the largest available screen
Engineering with an exhaust note
Still asking what happens if I try this
Four wheels, no regrets
“The Cayman GTS is my mid-life-crisis car. I consider the crisis extremely well specified.”
When I was young, owning a Porsche felt impossible. That makes the car more than an object: it is a reminder to notice the milestones when they arrive and enjoy them properly.
Why this site exists
A place for the parts that do not fit neatly on a CV.
A professional profile shows experience and outcomes. It rarely shows how somebody responds to being new at something, what they are curious about or whether they can explain a mistake without quietly deleting the evidence.
My Digital Experiences is where those parts belong. The career remains important. It simply shares the stage with learning, family and life.
